Quality and standards

The wide range of applications calls for maximum flexibility in terms of tube dimensions and steel grades. In addition, mechanical tube and pipe have to meet the highest safety requirements.

Needless to say, VALLOUREC TUBES uses state-of-the art technologies meeting and surpassing national and international standards.

The most important European standards for mechanical tube and pipe are EN 10297-1, prEN 10294-1, EN 10210-1 and EN 10225-1. They replace former national standards such as DIN, NFA, BS etc. Outside Europe, the relevant national standards (e.g. ASTM, JIS, GOST) are applicable.
